  2. Administrative personnel can easily retrieve information about student registration and similar records from anywhere there is Internet.

  • The system will reduce the total time required for registration (turnaround time)
    1. It will provide the registrar office staff member to do other jobs simultaneously.
    2. It will eliminate routine keyboard data entry for the staff members.

    1. Errors associated with data entry are reduced to a great extent because data will be entered by the concerned data generators themselves (e.g. students during registration, teachers during grade submission, etc.)

Services of the System

At completion the system will provide the following services:

  1. Students will be able to register, make applications for entry, readmission or withdrawal, perform course add and drops, and look at their academic records online using the Internet. This will make the long time spent on registration and the long frustrating queues a thing of the past.
  2. Teachers will be able to manage student grade submission and correction through an online system.
  3. Faculty and department officials will be able to generate statistics about different aspects of their particular wing, including academic status of students, enrolment by gender, performance by gender of academic background and many more.
  4. Generate reports and provide facilities to perform daily required functions, including attendance monitoring, section and room assignments, etc.
  5. The registrar will be able to enforce rules and policies and perform many other important one time functions, including setting passing, probation and dismissal grades, setting up new faculties, schools or departments, etc.
