Unity University College is the first private higher institute of education with a vision of becoming the best academic centre of excellence to learn, teach and research. To set unity as a modern academic institution several key areas of its activities need to be revised and made effective. One such example is its registration and student record keeping system.

Virtually all modern universities allow their students to make applications, registrations and get access to their academic records through an online system. Therefore, the automation of the student record management system is considered to be of primary importance. For this reason, Unity has taken up the project of implementing an online registration and record keeping system.

Project Mission

The mission of the registration and student record keeping system project is to allow prospective students make online applications, allow current students to register, view their records and perform related tasks using an online system. It will also avoid the problems of the existing registration system and ultimately maximize the satisfaction of its stakeholders: students, instructors, the registrar staff and the management of the university college.

The main objective of the project is to create a web based registration system that will be used by UUC students and prospective students to register, make application and look at their academic records. It will also be used by teachers, registrar staff and the management to manage students, look at statistical reports, submit grades, and perform similar operations. This will completely alleviate the current customer dissatisfaction on student registration and record management.
