Ato Abiy Hailemariam

Abiy Hailemariam was born on May 9, 1981 in Addis Ababa. He learned his elementary Education in Nativity Catholic Cathedral School and Joined Secondary Education at Bole Senior Secondary School. After taking the Ethiopian School leaving Certificate, he joined Unity University College for tertiary level academic career.

After joining Unity University College he studied Management Information Systems (MIS) as his Major field of study at the Faculty of Information Technology and Computational Sciences.

He recieved his B.Sc degree in August 2004. Currently he is working as a Junior IT Expert at the Capacity Building Institute (CBI) of Unity University College. Presently, he is engaged with his Colleagues in one of the projects of CBI with a projects entitled "The National Datawarehouse Project", Online Education System for Unity University College and a Web Site Project for Ministry of Trade and Industry.

His interests are more of engaged in web Development specially Open Source Technologies and Graphics Design, he said "Curiosity adopted from Childhood - Scratches started from Paint brushes". His wish is to become one of the web experts that his country ever fashioned. He has also a special interest in programming beside web.

Other than his work and Academics, he enjoys playing Basketball, walking and share his time with his friends. Bless U all !
