Ato Molalgne Girmaw

Molalgne Girmaw received his B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from Addis Ababa University in 1999.

He then started working as a network administrator for the Addis Ababa Office of Save the Children - Norway. He became a Microsoft Certified System Engineer in February 2000. In August 2001, he left his job to become a private computer network consultant and an instructor in computer networking and programming. In September 2003, he joined the Royal Institute of Technology in Sweden to study a masters degree in scientific computing. After receiving his master's degree in April 2004, he joined Unity University College as the Director of the IT section in Capacity Building Institute.

His research interests include Amharic Speech Recognition, Partial Differential Equations, and Speaker Identification.
